Holiday Symphony of Lights!


1. Entertaining and festive, Symphony of Lights is a free outdoor light show at Gulfstream Park, an open-air shopping and entertainment plaza in southeast Broward. Seasonal festivities also include train rides, Santa and other festivities select evenings.


2. The dynamic light display dances to holiday music every hour on the hour 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. November 24 to December 31, except December 18.

4. Free parking and valet parking for a fee are offered.


5. Extra events and activities include Santa, train rides, face painting & entertainers, Fridays and Saturdays 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. November 24 to December 23.




Water Taxi Holiday Lights

Fort Lauderdale’s popular water taxi gets festive for the holidays, taking passengers on an illuminated cruise down the Intracoastal to see the brightly decorated homes along the shore. Bring cash for cocktails and merry drinks for the kiddos. 1881 SE 17th St, Fort Lauderdale. Dec 4–17, 10 at 6pm; Dec 11–23 at 6pm, 8pm. $25, children 12 and under $15.




Flamingo Gardens – Garden of Lights!

1. In West Broward, Flamingo Gardens is featuring a holiday light show select weekend evenings.

2. The decorations, light show set to music and other festivities are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. December 15, December 16, December 17, December 22, December 23, December 29 and December 30.

3. The event is included with regular daytime entry fees to the attraction. Or for that event after 5 p.m., the price is $9.95 for ages 12 and older, $6.45 for ages 3 to 11 and free for members and ages 2 and younger. Drinks and snacks are sold.

Santa's Enchanted Forest!

For a lovely evening, a dazzling light show set to seasonal songs is featured for free in Plantation Acres.

The outdoor light shows are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. November 30 to December 30.

The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade


Vessels ranging from LED-adorned paddleboards to corporate megayachts and privately owned seacrafts are decked out with lights, music, live entertainment, decorations and revelers as they travel east through the Intracoastal Waterway and north to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. They don’t call it the “greatest show on H2O” for nothing. Events get underway at 6:30pm, but eager attendees are encouraged to show up early for the best views.




Festival of Trees at Deering Estate 

Charles Deering’s waterfront home is even more beautiful during the holidays, when it transforms into an illuminated wonderland. Witness the first spark of the season during the annual lighting festival, featuring hot chocolate, holiday music and a letter drop-off for Santa.
